In light of the successful start of the year 2011, Heaven ENT Networks engineering team have decided that it is time to proceed with our infrastructure upgrade. We made a decision to start preliminary testing of the distributed 10 Gigabit network solution for our SAN networking. The ultimate goal is to connect all storage devices and backup servers onto the 10 Gigabit network infrastructure and to continue the delivery of the uplinks to the end-user servers and appliances via dedicated single or dual 1 Gigabit Ethernet channels.
There is a potential to switch over the SAN data delivery onto Ipv6 which will improve real time data transfer rates as well.
